About Amalia Haddad, M.S., L.Ac.

Amalia Haddad is a Board Certified Acupuncturist with over 15 years' experience. She is licensed in the state of New York, and has offices in Manhattan and Long Island. While specializing in the treatment of asthma, allergies and ear infections in adults and children, Amalia understands the unique needs of each individual and has experience with post stroke paralysis and other related symptoms. In addition, she uses acupuncture to ease and manage the side effects of Western cancer therapy. Amalia is multi-lingual and fluent in English, Arabic and Hebrew.

Accreditation

Amalia received her Masters Degree in Traditional Oriental Medicine from Pacific College of Oriental Medicine in 1998. She trained with Dr. Shen Yi Li, an oncologist from China. Prior to her studies of oriental medicine, she earned her Bachelor of Science from Long Island University and worked as a respiratory therapist for more than 15 years at St. Vincent Hospital and Medical Center, specializing in Pediatrics and Neonatal care.

Blending her deep understanding of Eastern and Western medicine, Amalia works with her clients to restore health through balance. She treats all types of physical and emotional conditions and specializes in respiratory disorders such as allergies and asthma, acute and chronic pain, stress and anxiety issues, fatigue, and immune system challenges.

Amalia is a compassionate healer and offers gentle and effective treatment for adults and children. Her knowledge, expertise, and experience help her treat each patient individually and effectively.

Yoga

Amalia has studied, practiced, and taught yoga in the Krishnamacarya lineage as well as Hatha Yoga.
